EIC’S New Online Learning Hub Provides On-Demand Education

February 6, 2020

The new EIC Knowledge Hub from Events Industry Council is an online learning platform for event professionals designed to be a go-to source for the latest education, best practices, courses and trends. Besides allowing users to access the organization’s extensive education archive, the new hub complements EIC’s other educational resources, including webinars, industry research and live events.

“The new hub allows current and those interested in becoming Certified Meeting Professionals the opportunity to easily access, track and advance their learning,” said Amy Calvert, CEO of EIC. “Education is the hallmark of the EIC, and it’s a testament to our industry that it is a priority of our members.”

Enhanced features of the Knowledge Hub include single sign-on technology, a personalized online experience and the ability to access content whenever and wherever, and on multiple devices.

The hub facilitates registration for upcoming live webinars, as well as allowing event professionals to navigate past courses and sessions — including top-of-mind industry topics such as sustainability, risk management, meeting or event design, and strategic planning.

“Ensuring meeting and events professionals continue to advance and add meaningful value to their roles is a core focus of EIC,” said EIC Board Chair Tina Wehmeir. “The only way to stay relevant and continue to bring value to our role is to continue to learn from leading trends, best practices and lessons learned by others.”

She added, “The new EIC Knowledge Hub will…[make] the important task of continuous learning easier and more effective, and most importantly, on-demand.”
